Good hotel with great amenities like free wi-fi, a fitness center, and a cute bar. The staff even helped me find the best shopping spots during my first visit. Don't miss their attentive service! I'm coming back for a romantic escape.

Generally IMPECCABLE service with parking at the back. Huge and panoramic room and a very comfy bed. Amazing location - 5 minutes walk from bus station.

The breakfast is delicious and magnificent with yogurt, waffles, the option of cooked bacon, and the service is attentive. Make sure to get a double room with a 5 * bathroom, breathtaking views over the town and amazing antiques: D

One word, A-MA-ZING! The location offered overwhelming views of the mountains. I seemed like royalty amidst the castle's majestic décor. Each interaction with the staff added warmth to my experience. The culinary scene was a treasure, and walking into town was good. I look forward to returning to this peaceful place, where every moment felt special.
The heated pool felt small, a downside. I was also disappointed with the concentrated juice served at breakfast instead of fresh options.

This is a very cool venue with fantastic views. It is genuinely a 1000 year old castle with a lot of character. The staff are very helpful.
It is not particularly close to Kitzbuhel or other large resorts but there are buses. The food is not particularly good quality and there is no separate bar.

Real castle, no noise, no tv, no lift to the 3rd floor, traditional furniture, good staff and best of all excelent and plenty food.
100 meters ascent road from the parking lot to the castle-hotel.

A fascinating experience. Being trendy whilst keeping the so called castle- atmosphere. Schloss Mittersill rooms are second to none. Spacious and modern. The staff are courteous and willing to run the extra mile every now and then. Breakfast is abundant. Schloss Mittersill is worth every single penny.
Wi-Fi should be available at every single room and not only accesible from common public areas.

Staff was great, nice old castle in the process of rehab!
Access to front door needs a little work, as one needs to use the old narrow carriage ramp! But still fun!

An excellent hotel with great one to one service. Staff make you feel very welcome. It's great staying somewhere with a bit of history. One of the best places I've stayed at. Would highly recommended this hotel if you need a break to recharge the old batteries (metaphorically of course).
No room service. Last bus is at 6 pm. taxi costs 10-14 euros from town. limited breakfast; dinner menu is a bit strange but I suppose it adds to the experience.

The culinary scene here is a treasure! We stumbled upon energetic spots like Meilinger Taverne and Braurup-the vibes were buzzing and the flavors, divine. Our stay in the Double Room Balcony was pure bliss, the balcony giving us amazing mountain views, and the reception team redefined what warm welcomes mean.
We wanted to stay longer but had to scoot back home. A lil hiccup with the spa saunas not working and the dining lacked some pizzazz at times left us yearning for more.

Location. View. Authentic castle. Friendly staff. Excellent food. The best place we have stayed in during our European tour.

Astonishing old castle just renovated to very high standard. Superb position staff, very good food (the best we had in Austria), and very good value. Would have stayed longer if possible. Also check out the amazing municipal swimming pools in the town, made from steel and beautiful to swim in. Heated so weather not an issue, but nicest at 9am when empty.
